Covid-19 Travel Requirements
St. Kitts & Nevis is pleased to share the new Health and Safety protocols in effect May 29, 2021. The Federation is observing a phased reopening with specific entry and travel requirements to be maintained by visitors.
The Federation's travel requirements for fully vaccinated travelers by
Air and Sea are stated below.

Returning Nationals, Residents (proof of residency stamp in passport), Caribbean Single Market Economy (CSME) certificate holders and Work Permit Holders are required to:
Submit Required Forms & Upload Test
All travelers must submit a COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test result from a CLIA/CDC/UKAS approved lab accredited with ISO/IEO 17025 standard, taken 72 hours prior to travel, along with the required embarkation form, and all other supporting documentation. An embarkation form is required regardless of age. Forms must be submitted no later than 24 hours prior to travel.
Please note, acceptable COVID-19 PCR tests must be taken by nasopharyngeal sample. Self-samples, rapid test, or home test will be considered invalid.
Fully vaccinated travelers will be required to submit a copy of their official Vaccination Record card including dates when doses were administered.

All incoming travelers must have hard copies of their KNA travel form, negative RT-PCR test results, Vaccination Record Card, and taxi fare as only Travel Approved taxis will be allowed to transport travelers to their accommodations.

Returning Nationals and Residents of St. Kitts and Nevis have the option to quarantine at a government approved facility, opt to stay at pre-approved quarantine housing at their own cost, or Vacation In Place at one of the Travel Approved hotels.
The government-approved accommodations are:
- Bird Rock Apartment Complex
- Koi Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton
- Ocean's Edge
- Ocean Terrace Inn (OTI) - temporarily unavailable
- Oualie Beach
- Potworks

Persons who are interested in pre-approved quarantine housing are required to apply to the COVID-19 Task Force here.
Fully vaccinated returning National and Residents will undergo an RT-PCR Test (USD 100 National/Residents) on day 9, and if they test negative, the returning National or Resident will be allowed to integrate into St. Kitts and Nevis.
Please note that fully vaccinated returning Nationals and Residents who travel with non-vaccinated children will be required to quarantine or "Vacation in Place" for 14 days.
Non-vaccinated returning Nationals and Residents will undergo an RT-PCR Test (USD 100 NAtiona.s/Residents) on day 14, and if the test negative, the resturning National or Resident will be allowed to integrate into St. Kitts and Nevis.

Please present printed documentation including:
- Negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test that was submitted
- Travel Authorization Form
- Official COVID Vaccination Record Card (applies to fully vaccinated travelers)
Health Screening Questions
Upon arrival, all travelers will have their temperature checked and asked to answer a series of health screening questions, including health and travel history.
In the event a traveler exhibits any COVID-19 symptoms during the health screening, the traveler will be required to take a COVID-19 test on site at the traveler's expense.

For your health and safety, please ensure that you:

Wear your mask when social distancing is not possible. - “STAY IN YOUR LANE”
Practice social distancing. - “HANITIZE”
Wash or sanitize your hands in 30 minute intervals. - Follow established health & safety protocols for all attractions and excursions.

Report any COVID-19 symptoms to any government official or your hotel manager. You can call the emergency health hotline at 311.
Departure Requirements
Departure Requirements
Arrive 3 hours prior to flight departure.
Effective May 1, 2021, fully vaccinated air travelers are not required to submit an exit RT-PCR test. If a pre-departure test is still required for the country of destination, the RT-PCR test will be taken 72 hours prior to departure (e.g. US cititzens are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test results prior to returning to the US. This applies to non-vaccinated and fully vaccinated travelers).
All incoming travelers visitng the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis for three days or less including those in transit will have their departure nasopharyngeal RT-PCR test sample collected at the airport upon arrival.
