
The St. Christopher Heritage Society is a national,
non-governmental, voluntary organisation established
in 1989 and registered under the Company's Act of
St. Kitts and Nevis in 1994. Its mission is to preserve
and promote the natural, historical and cultural
heritage of the island of St. Christopher (St. Kitts).

Since its inception in 1989,
the St. Christopher Heritage Society has undertaken
some major projects and been involved in many
different activities. These projects include:
Co-hosting the Quality of Life Conferences
Developing The Country Environmental Profile
Cataloguing the Island's major historical sites
Implementing a Bio diversity Study
Recording the Oral History of the Island
Organising a Medicinal Plants Project
Arranging a series of 'Adventure Tours'
Maintaining a permanent exhibition of photographs
and information in our offices and reading room.
Continuing to collect books and documents and
to enlarge our video library.
Helping local and visiting researchers; such as
historians, archaeologists, architects, botanists,
ornithologists, students and business persons.
Producing and distributing a variety of educational
materials.
Continuing to work towards a National Museum
